I hate cleaning a side and then flipping the vinyl over only to rest that clean side on a dusty surface. This deep Cleaning roller fixes that. You can visually see the debris it picks up. I dont use it every record but if a disc looks particularly dusty or dirty I give it the sticky roller before the brush and that lp is spotless! Its a great addition to the audiophile tool box.

my wifes dad gave me all his old albums. Some of them where pretty dusty and dirty and this roller helped a lot. I like to use this roller first it gets a majority out the dirt off. If there is anything that doesnt come off I use a microfiber rag and vinyl cleaner. After it dries I will use a clean roller again. It has left quite a few albums looking almost new.

As a long time record collector I know dust and lint as my enemies. All my records new and used get a washing with my record washer before first play. Then prior to spinning any lp a blast of anti-static from a Zero-Stat gun and a careful sweep with a Hunt brush. The beauty of this is that it does not just move around the dust but actually picks it up for permanent removal. I also love its ability to clean the turntable mat as well as my VPI record washing mat.

This roller works very well if not a bit too tacky and can easily be rinsed clean with warm water. BUT.....DONT try to dry it ANY other way other than air drying!! Its too tacky to use ANY type of cloth to dry it. But when clean and dry it removes EVERYTHING from the surface of your vinyl. But if you have a weak drive motor ( or one of the new crappy exposed-drive belt rubber band powered) turntable you may have trouble keeping the record spinning while using this as its very tacky. But my direct-drive does just fine.
