I love this product! It is great for free motion quilting . With FMQ, since you are watching the laser dot to follow a pattern, be careful to let your thumb or finger go under the needle! That could really hurt!

Helpful tool

I bought it specifically to mount to my sewing machine to use when piecing quilt blocks. Its a great idea, but it is difficult to get it to adjust and stay put. The flexible neck is too flexible... when I position it where I want, the neck wants to bounce back to whichever direction I moved it from.

Quality product

Really useful for getting an accurate 1/4 inch seam. My only criticism would be that the flexible arm is a little too flexible, so it's easy to bump it out of alignment.
